Housing in SLC

I'm moving back to "Zion" after a self-inflicted 5 year sentence in the Midwest. My wife and I are looking for a two-bedroom rental house or apt anywhere between downtown SLC and Millcreek. We've been on Zillow and KSL a lot, but haven't found anything too great.

If you're moving out soon or know an open house on your street, please let us know. We are Midwestern (kinda) overstokers and would make great neighbors for carpooling to the climbing rocks.

Where do you work in the area?

I'll be teaching at Northwest Middle School and my wife will be at City Academy. (Both downtownish).

My friend is renting his house in Sandy (I know it's not where you are looking to live) for $800 plus utilities. He is a climber and spends most of his time at his girlfriend's place. The basement is yours with private bath. He just wants to be able to come home sometimes but that doesn't happen very often. So the house is basically yours. Let me know if you are interested.
