I live in southern Ohio and climb the New, Red and Seneca. I have been aid climbing multi-pitch stuff for a few years and would like to do some overnight big wall stuff. When I climb I practice trad, aid, multi-pitch, rescue skills, portaledge use, jumaring, hauling, traversing etc. in preparation for a Yosemite trip next spring.

I have a full big wall rack including a portaledge and I am happy to mentor someone (with strong trad skills) who wants to learn big wall stuff and conquer El Cap’s Nose next spring. Anyone interested?

I will be in the New River Gorge this Memorial Day Week-end 5/27-30/16. This would be a great time to start.

Cheers,

Chris Watkins

Hey Chris. I'm not sure if I'm skilled enough for the nose yet... but I would be interested potentially, and willing to
train for it.

Hey Chris! I live in Columbus. My trad skills are certainly not strong but I'm confident I could get up to speed quickly if you want someone to climb with while you look for a full-time partner. Or if I turn out to be okay, I'd be down to start prepping for El Cap.

What route were you planning on doing? How much time were you going to allocate on the wall. I'd be interested. Tom

I will let you all know when I will be climbing again and you are welcome to join me. I normally Climb Friday, Saturday and Sunday and leave afternoon on Sunday. I work on trad and aid use in big wall scenarios and do not mind being a mentor. I have all the equipment necessary although you may need a thing or two if you plan on going to Yosemite in the future.

I climb at the Red, New and Seneca Rocks whatever offers the best conditions (and most convenient location) for that week-end. I hope to practice a couple of times a month through fall.

I will be climbing in the New River Gorge 6/17-19/2016 and need a partner. I’ll be working on big wall skills including trad, aid, multi-pitch, traversing etc. I don’t mind being a mentor and I have plenty of gear if you want to give aid climbing a try. PM if interested or e-mail uraniumman at Hotmail dot com.

Will be in the red and the new all summer long. Havent been climbing outdoors very long, but im extremeley safety conscious and learn very fast. Big walls will come after ive practiced techniques. A mentor would be greatly appreciated. Currently climbing 5.11c
