Hey Boulder Canyon friends and lovers,

The Plotinus Wall trail work project is underway and our crew needs your help now. Roger Briggs and the Boulder Climbing Community have worked hard since the flood of '13 to re-open access and coordinate repairs, no small feat involving National Forest, Boulder County, and City of Boulder Open Space land managers.

The project runs through June 3 and focuses on high-traffic areas at the base of the crag.

Invite your friends and encourage other climbers to join the BCC and support our trail repair and re-bolting projects!

Our work at the Morrison Darkside Boulders was completed last week. Future 2016 projects include Third Flatiron, Lumpy Ridge and more JeffCo sites.

Join fellow community-minded climbers in taking care of our resources!

If you have any questions or want to work out a custom schedule please contact us at frcsbcc@gmail.com.

What's the situation regarding access to the Plotinus Wall?

The access trail from 119/Boulder Falls remains closed. Accessing from Upper Dream crosses private land. FRCS is negotiating a plan to repair and restore the access trail. Everyone's support is appreciated.

Signed up! Look forward to climbing here after several years of following the rules.

I worked with these guys today, and I've got to say that these folks are kicking ass. The permanent crew are working 10 hour days, four days a week, and doing an amazing job.

This is a great opportunity to work hard, show the forest service that climbers can care for our land, and get a great climbing crag re-opened for us to enjoy. Help out for a day if you can!

Thanks Nick! It was great meeting you and having you out there. We still have a few open slots for volunteers tomorrow (Friday) and next week, next Friday in particular as we could use some help packing our equipment out.

I signed up for next Thursday, but it is not clear as to how I access the work site, is it from the Falls?

Someone will meet you at the falls parking with special permits in hand.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
