I will be in Seattle May 31 and beforehand I was thinking it'd be really fun to either go check out Index/Leavenworth or to go do an ascent of one of the cascades or some alpine route nearby that is in season. I have very little snow climbing experience but am in pretty good shape, have a bunch of summer alpine climbing experience and really wanted to cap the end of a long road trip off with a summit of something. If that doesn't appeal, again I'd be keen to see Index or Leavenworth. Currently I am in Squamish until May 27 for sure. Able to lead sport 12, trad 11 and am a safe, positive climber.

Go to leavenworth. You can spend a day bouldering, sport or trad climbing in icicle creek canyon. A few good commercial campgrounds, or crashing in your car is acceptable for a few nights. Get up early and you can do a number or summits in the enchantments in a long day, but its brutal. Try colchuck glacier from colchuck lake, or just hike up asgard pass. Its beautiful. You can crash at the trailhead ad start super early if thats what you choose.
