So I am half way up cannon cliff and one of those touring bikes with the big fairing and all the bells and wistels goes by on RT 93 a half mile below me. the stereo is cranking Free Falling and w/ the cliff and wind conditions etc i can hear it perfectly...

I like dubstep/trance/techno. Interesting music but not too distracting. Gemini is pretty good. I like Blue, Rise and Fall, No Way Out and 3D Romeo by him. Also, Deadmau5, Knife Party (Bonfire!), Blackmill and the Glitch Mob.
For rock, I like Chevelle a lot. Coheed and Cambria, Incubus, Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, and for heavier stuff I really dig August Burns Red and The Devil Wears Prada. ABR is a phenomenal band of you like metalcore

All Misfits, all the time. And some Slayer for good measure.

Great recommendations guys. I've got an awesome albeit eclectic climbing playlist now. Mtproj rocks sometimes.

Help me out here...

There's a *really* weird song that is rapping about manattees then it says something like "Patagonia is a pretty neat place" I heard it while firing through a wild crux at Frey and can't find it anywhere

And you can't forget Cut the Chord by Shinedown, always appropriate

Psychedelic ambient/downtempo is the way to go for me.

Albums (all found on Spotify):
Phonic Peace by Cell
Enthymesis by Entheogenic
Are you Shpongled by Shpongle
That Much Closer to the Sun by Abakus
Skylon by Ott

Bet you've never heard of any of that shit. I have weird music taste but it's totally mental for me.

I assume you've heard about the big reunion at both Riotfests (Denver and Chicago)?
