We (me, my fiancé, our 2 kids) will be in Custer May 26th and 27th. I know how to lead sport routes (about 2 yrs. lead 5.8-5.9 climb 5.10a) my fiancé does not have much experience lead belaying or climbing for that matter although she has toprope belay experience. However we would really like to get some climbing in while we are out there. We are looking to have a good solid day of climbing one of those days. I am aware of the areas to TR with access from the top (falling rock, etc.) so we can avoid leading if we have to however I was wondering if there was anyone willing to come with for part of a day to mentor us on lead belaying and provide outdoor lead climbing tips? I looked into sylvan rocks but we are on a budget so that may be out of the question. I am also up for any suggestions whether it be other areas to climb, or just general knowledge! If you have any questions or would be interested in helping us out that would be great! Thank you!
