NOT searching for an ELDO or BC partner

Anyone want to climb ANYWHERE in the state of Colorado OTHER than Eldo or Boulder Canyon?????

i thought Eldo was the only climbing venue in Colorado. It's all I ever hear about.

But, damn, just SOOOO many people, and I go to the mountains to escape the hordes...ya know?

SendaGorilla, I get what you say. Even though I've posted a lot lately for Eldo partners since my regular partners have been unavailable I prefer more remote alpine routes and also going to other places, when time affords. Weekends are mostly available, and can get occasional weekdays off. So feel free contact me for another partner resource. I do wish there were more Denver area people on mp but maybe there will be.

I'm finished with teaching for the summer after June 2, so I'll be looking (locally, at least) at Lumpy/Estes/RMNP, South Platte, Vedauwoo, Poudre Canyon, Pikes Peak, Taylor Canyon, Independence Pass - of course chasing ideal temps/weather/altitude. I know most of these places pretty well - and of course will be hunting down some more obscure locales along the way. Hit me up whenever if you're wanting to get out.

Got a fun, casual, low paying job that will allow me to spend my precious time mt. biking, climbing, and catching sweet music fests.

So- I'm definitely down to drive for some good climbing...but probably not anywhere in the front range.
If any of you guys are keen on meeting up somewhere in the middle? There are tons of great places all over Colorado.

Never been to Rifle actually. Maybe it's about time to check it out? (Tho..I'm not much of a sport climber. Definitely more into long, remote alpine routes)...but, hell in game.
And speaking of alpine routes/-hmmmmm I might even be willing to drive the 7 hrs to Estes some weekend if it meant I could get another run up the Saber!! (Or Le Petit I suppose )
