If you want another fact to add to your arsenal, consider that the Outdoor Industry Association found that expenditures related to outdoor recreation exceeded $660 billion* in 2012. Allowing a mine in an area as popular as this would significantly curtail the economic benefits experienced by the local communities as a direct result of outdoor recreation.
