Went in there to see what they had left for climbing gear. Nothing more than 20% off, but if you needed something right then you could get a rope or a harness 20% off.

The way I read it, Sports Chalet and Eastern Mountain Sports are owned by the Vestis Retail Group, and Sports Authority is privately-owned by a separate group (Leonard Green and Partners).

Visited Sports Authority yesterday at Lake Mead and Rainbow and though they have let soft goods inventory dwindle not much is on sale.
