Baxter's Pinnacle in summer-questions

Peregrine surveys begin in late April at the earliest when the birds start occupying their territories. Past closures have been implemented as early as May 1. They might continue that timing to be safe (courtship is taking place, and they're sensitive), with closures lifted when they can determine lack of occupancy and/or nest failure.

Guide's Wall is a nice climb--might be other parties on it, but it can take them. Taking the first boat across Jenny Lake (which is cheapest) is a good way to avoid them.
