Overnight parking New/Seneca?

Hey folks,

Headed for an extended trip down to the New, Red, and Seneca. Debating building a platform in the back of the Subaru and sleeping in the car as opposed to paying to camp. Wondering if people have beta for places you can park cars overnight in the New or in Seneca. Got the Red taken care of already. Is it worth trying to battle trying to find places to park or should we just stick to camping?

There is a good amount of free camping at the New.

Stroll into the vistor's center and they will give you a map with all the free and paid camping spots on it.

Seneca is in the middle of nowhere so you'd be find pulling off the side of a dirt road.

At the red you can get a real cheap long term camping pass that will allow you to sleep legally in your car in the national forest.
