Shortoff route question
Hello! Looking for someone who knows Shortoff super well. Have a question about a route that wasn't in the guide book or online. |
Why not post the question in here in case others run into the same thing? |
If you're asking about Shortoff in Linville, there are a bunch of undocumented routes there. What's your question? |
nbrown is the person to ask. Glad he posted up. |
I am glad he posted also. My question to him is, are power drills legal there? |
Good God Shannon your diatribes never get old... If you aware of any illicit activity on my part then just say so. |
Just asked for an answer, not sure I got one. Wow, you N.C. climbers are a bit touchy, and revealing. |
Sorry Adam, it was a simple yes or no answer, the natives get a little restless when settlers start asking questions and I myself find it quite a pertinent question. |
Oooh. Is it time to play bingo again? |
There were no bolts on this thing! |

Your best bet is to just sit back and stay out of the way until everyone tires out and cries themselves to sleep. If you actually want an answer to your question, I'd recommend PMing nbrown and ask about it off-thread. The peanut gallery is rarely helpful when it comes to these things. |

Yea Andy, no bolts, that did not stop the natives from bolting Laurel Robbins. Be careful climbing in N.C. The Prime Minister of England just gave a travel warning for that State! |

Sounds like the Peanut Gallery is getting all worked up again, bring it on! |

More comments from the Peanut Gallery, and your an administrator, go figure. The way I see it Adam is you can either man up and figure it out on your own, or make a date with Nathan Brown. All I am saying is that Nathan has chopped bolts on two of my routes, one on Laurel Knob and one on Whitesides so good luck. |
I figured out what happened and probably won't make a post about the route since it's kinda sketchy with a one move wonder. |
So did you send a new route or what? Sounds like you did but are caving in. Damn, this thread was just getting up a head of steam! Does it stink on this page or is it just J.L.'s armpits? |
Hey Nathan, do not get mad and take your ball home, I was just starting to have fun with my numerous detractors who care nothing for the truth! |
Haters gonna hate, Shannon. Let's go peregrine hunting. |
I hear ya Ben, just letting the lad know that even now you can still hear the banjo music down hear in the Deep South! |
