i've had petzl Roc, BD half dome, Petzl meteor, BD vapor,

my preferred helmet and the one i wear now is a skate-style pro tec kind of helmet.

I bought it for $5, i like it and think it looks better than climbing helmets, and does the same thing. Negligible weight difference.
