Climbing near Prague, Czech Republic

Hey guys!

I am traveling to Prague and want to check out the climbing there. I'll be there April 27-30 and looking for a partner, but since it seems unlikely I will find a partner at such short notice, I was wondering if anyone knows about a guide service I can call to hire a guide?

Or if anyone knows a hostel/area I am likely to meet a lot of climbers, that would be really helpful!

1. The best website to search for partners in Czech republic is this:
www.lezec.cz . Click on "INZERCE" at the top and post your message (english is completely fine, most people will understand). The website has english mutation as well czechclimbing.com/ however this is not so up-to-date.

2. OR try to get to this facebook group ( facebook.com/groups/3755938… its called "Lezeni kdy a kde", means "climbing when and where"). I am not too much familiar with FB so I don't know how you get your approval to join the group but if you know, I am happy to help you:)

3. I am living in Prague so we might even go climbing together, but I am working at that time so can do mostly just afternoons (can recommend you at least some crags though (PM))

Hey Melissa, I live in Leipzig but do make some trips over to prague. If you'll have a car I'd be happy to meet up and try to figure it out, I haven't climbed over there at all. Let me know if you think that could work, or if I get up to some Czech or Elbsandstein climbing before the end of april I'll write ya.
