I need guidebooks. A lot of guidebooks

We bought an RV and are going to start driving around the country in June beginning in NJ but starting our climbing journey in South Dakota Mt Rushmore area. It occurred to me as we drive we would have to accrue many guide books. Although MP is obviously a great resource we all know the value in guidebooks. My question is is there a place that sells used guidebooks or even a place you can rent them? That would be ideal

Thanks in advance

Amazon would be a good way to go.

What areas are you visiting after SD?

In Estes Park, CO, the climbing shop rents guides for Lumpy.

We are doing the country counter clockwise. This summer will be SD, Seattle, San Fran (valley), Joshua tree. Fall will be Zion, Colorado, Vegas. Winter will be Phoenix Tucson areas.

This is a great resource. I've used this often when traveling. Just costs the cheap media mail shipping back to the AAC library in Golden.

Otherwise I would post on the forums here: WTB: whatever destination you're headed to.

Check out Rakkup.

There are a whole mess of guidebooks on there. All of them that I've seen have a rental option for a fraction of the cost. ($2 - $8)

Joshua tree in summer? Good luck.

But it sounds like a sweet trip. Post some trip reports and such.

Not completely set on schedule Joshua tree will probably be beginning of fall. Still hot but possible. I was out there last summer. On by 8 off by 12

Not that you asked but you should hit Devils tower if you're in SD. It's very close
