Wow, that's actually a pretty interesting question. I think that it would be almost impossible to find a hard number for either. In BOCan, in addition to the sport routes, you'd have to take into account the occasional bolt on a trad line, plus anchor bolts and bolts for some of the tyroleon's

I do not think you have seen the new guide books many added and replaced bolts to climbs and lots of new sport climbs compared to the 70/80's From what climbs have they been chopped..?

hell, even CT is loaded with sport/bolted routes now compared to 10-30 years ago.
