Hello.
I love MP and use it a ton when I travel. I have hiking, mountain biking, and powder apps too. It would be great for mp to have an opening screen like them that asks you if you are interested in areas near you. Good for when one is in unfamiliar territory. Keep up the great work thanks.

Thanks Chris! MP is going to be completely re-designed and re-coded starting this summer (and taking a while). Both the apps and the web site, every single line of code. "Near Me" and a "Route Finder" are features we will definitely build in to the app, among many other things.

Please tell me you're moving away from PHP finally... :-)

Are you guys going to be going fully native on the apps? Right now it seems like you are using some kind of web wrapper/cordova/phone gap or whatever. This definitely leaves a lot to be desired.

That being said, thanks for the work you guys have done so far!! MP is a vital part of the climbing community and I am excited to see what you guys come up with. I have been a mobile app developer for 5 years now so I know how challenging it can be.

PS - some love given to the profile features on the app would be great!! It would be really nice to be able to create route TODOs/Ticks directly from your profile rather than from the route's page. Sort of how Facebook dynamically links a friend's name or page when you are typing a status. I realize this becomes harder from an engineering stand point but surely it can be done!! Anyway, good stuff so far!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
