Gandy is a nice short lead (my first in Josh). Decent protection relative to other "sport" climbs in J-tree. It can be setup as TR with a 4th class scramble around the back. There is also a crack near 1st or 2nd bolt that you could add optional pro to if uncomfortable with the spacing of the bolts.

Belay station for Gandy (5.9) is kind of over this small chasm so we had our belayer anchor into the first bolt.
