I've worked as a neonatal critical care nurse since I was 21. No problem meeting women. In fact I am the only male nurse on day shift here in this unit in a sea of women. However one important lesson I learned years ago is not to mess with your work place. I absolutely will not date somebody I work with so becoming a yoga instructor would actually put me in a worse position than I currently am!

I have to add ... Climbing makes for many independently minded humans ...the more independent,the less a human is willing to give up for the cost of dating another and it's time requirements (which is not a bad or good things)just a fact

Interesting. I posted a while back looking for hard core motivated female climbing partners (out of Bay Area) as well. No success and I've edited out the detailed post since.

As a matter of fact, I am just looking for hard core motivated partners, but as a woman, I don't want to get in any relationship complications, so I stated my preference for female partners. At this point, I just want to climb.

I give the OP, Casey, kudos for braving the sometimes brutal Internet and making his candid quest for the right partner. I wish you the best luck!

Hoping to get to ORG for some sport climbing or whatever else in the area for a few days. (sometime march 31st-april 5th) I live in OR so it would be a very short trip. I climb sport 11's to 12's. (Currently nursing a shoulder injury so haven't lead above an easy 11). Easy trad leader. Let me know if you want to hook up to climb. Also a nurse btw.
