Buying retired Climbing Ropes

Do you have old ropes to sketchy to climb with? Stuck them in a closet hoping to gather enough to weave a rug someday but realizing that you'll never get to it?

I'm looking for old ropes that are just taking up space and looking to re-purpose/recycle them. They will be used to make rope art. They will not be used for climbing, and will be cut up and glued back together as seen below.

For a 60 meter rope, I would pay $20 and shipping costs. It would be even better if I can pick it up.

I understand some people find other uses for their ropes, but if you don't have any, let me buy it from you! :)

Thanks For your interest!
Rob

Are you selling your rope art? Do you have a website to sell them? Because the guitar piece is pretty damn cool looking.

I have a barely used blue rope that is too old to climb with (18 yrs+) and also a redish-pinkish rope that was used extensively but not frayed or anything (23+ yrs old).
You can have both if you will pay shipping from Colorado

Hi Scott,
The guitar one was sold, but I plan on making more. I want to build up some inventory before I invest in a website, that's why I'm trying to find more rope. Have some deals in progress with local gyms to get old ropes and one of them will be displaying my art for sale in the near future.

But if you have a request I can accommodate. I do custom jobs... Can be words, a simple image, a design, ect... Can even use your favorite old rope that you've been on adventures with!

Pricing is based on size of the custom project.
