Specifically for Taylor Canyon - access to Moses and Zeus.

The NPS has this

nps.gov/cany/planyourvisit/…

but it doesn't specify for Taylor.

Anybody been out there recently ?

I was there on Saturday (2/27/16). Road is in good condition. A few sandy sections that were no problem with 4x4. Make sure you pick up a day-use permit (free) as they are required for anyone heading onto the White Rim.

I got to Taylor Canyon a couple of years ago with all wheel drive. Still in similar condition?

Technically, 4x4 is required on the White Rim as of August 2014:
nps.gov/cany/learn/manageme…

An additional reminder for y'all:
A day use permit is now required for the White Rim. If you're camping at the Taylor Canyon camp as most climbers do, then the day use permit is not needed.
Regarding the day use permits: there are only 50 vehicle permits per day for the entire White Rim. Remember that an extremely popular day trip for a lot of people is to descend the Shafer Trail onto the Rim, travel to Musselman Arch or a little beyond, then back-track to the bottom of the Shafer Trail and exit back to Moab via the Potash Road. This can leave no permits for those wanting to do something on Moses in a (very long) day.

As an FYI the permits aren't a big deal to obtain. They're available online up to 24 hours in advance. Note that the rangers patrol and check for permits and adherence to the speed limit.

Update: Drove up Taylor on 3/2 in an AWD Suby. Completely dry. Rutted in a few places but not bad. The sandy washes are more of a concern but we never had any issues.

I've never been on the Rim without encountering a patrolling ranger or two.
Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
