Winter Attempts of Grand Teton

Would anyone want to team up and go for a attempt the 24th-27th this month? I want to get into the mountains but do not have a partner. I will be heading up to jackson, Alpine CO, Cody, or Montana the night of the 23rd and will need to return to Casper by the evening of the 27th. Anybody want to freeze?

As luck would have it, work is cancelled for tomorrow and Friday. I plan to solo as high as possible in Garnett Canyon on Thursday, camp and keep going on Friday. A friend will join me for Friday night at the upper saddle. Hopefully summit on Saturday morning and be home Saturday night.
Join me if you want. I wear black gear with green ice tools strapped to a Cilo Gear pack. Yellow BD tent.

Does anybody have any idea what conditions are like in late November? I want to do a free ascent of the OS how much snow and ice should I expect that time of year?

Did you ever complete this summit attempt?

I’m looking to summit the Grand in one of the first weeks of March - any advice for my route. Any info is helpful - we will not be skiing  - plan is to allow four days on mtn.

Cheers.

Early March = ski.

Or wait till June.

I did not but plenty of folks ski it in the late winter, as you well know, so it is definitely possible.
