I'm putting up a 15 foot indoor wall for the kids and me, and I'm looking for some used holds. I had to cancel our momentum memberships while I work on my MBA at the U so I'm trying put together the wall on the cheap. I keep missing the good deals on KSL, but I'll keep trying :)

David. Just an idea! Use real rocks. Hammer drill the holes (carefully) and on the smaller stones I back them w construction adhesive or other backer, Which prevents them from cracking as easily. Don't over tighten when applied to wall. Micro foothold just apply with glue or epoy. A deck paint w sand works good for texture on plywood before holds are placed. Prep the plywood before painting to insure it stays put...

I bought these

Good price and good variety of holds. A lot of jugs which would be good for the kids.

Try Synrock. I started with them and still love their cobbles and super jugs. About a third of my wall is synrock. Very nice to climb on.

Hi David, I have a 4' X 4' free standing woodie with Metolius rungs. It is your if you come and get it. It is in mint condition. I have a lot of other holds but they will be pricey.

Thanks for all the ideas. I just cut all the boards for the frame this weekend so it will probably be a few more weeks before I'll be ready for holds. Below is a before pic and I'll add more to keep me motivated to get it done.
