Nathan Self wrote:Chase, Jean's Overhang is at Tishomingo. I, also, have looked for that legendary boulder of Louisiana--to no avail. It's in Kisatchie somewhere...I heard there's treasure there! Thanks. I think its awesome that the first time I ever went climbing (real rock or plastic) was at Tishmingo in Mississippi. Labor Day weekend, 2001. Such a long time ago. I have climbed somewhere in the neighborhood of 3000 times since (average of 4 times per week for 15.5 yrs) |

MattH wrote: Ah, I figured as much given that it's listed in NH here. I just remember 113 winding across the border several times between Fryeburg and Gilead. I was almost sure there was a 14- at that stretch of cliff I mentioned. I'd say Digitizer has exfoliated to 13+/14- status by this point (probably the latter), but I don't think it's seen an ascent since it was easier. Maybe there's something out in GB? Excessive Tunnel Power at Mormon Hollow is another 13+ out there in the pioneer valley.Digitizer is such choss it should be disqualified, I don't even know if it has been sent in its current state. At mormom Dark Star is 13b/c, Excessive Tunnel power is 13c. My understanding is that All Your Bass is hard 13c, Diatribe is 13c/d I think you might be refering to Diatribe, at the mysterious cliff below the courthouse. Below the courthouse everything is pretty slabby. Diatribe is on the yellow wall which is to the right of the main slab/courthouse area. |

M Sprague wrote: Would this help? rockclimbing.com/cgi-bin/fo… jonathannutt.photoshelter.c… Geez, you guys don't know how to find rock. I haven't been in Louisiana since I lived for a short time in NO as a kid in 1972 and I found it in less than 5 min :)) Here is a map of what I think is the spot: google.com/maps/dir/31.4763…@31.475154,-92.9935303,982m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m8!4m7!1m0!1m5!1m1!1s0x863a843f11e2f271:0x74385f11b5c3380c!2m2!1d-92.9993099!2d31.4760406?hl=enIf it were as easy as putting in mapquest directions I would of found it by now. :( I looked at the rockclimbing.com forum and other random things on the Internet. I took two trips up there from Baton Rouge and went on all those trails.. They're not just off the side of a trail, or at least they're not anymore. I've seen that picture before, but have yet to see them in person and I have yet to talk to someone who's seen them either... It sucks dude. |

this MIGHT be the hardest route in PA since the 5.14 at birdsboro broke... |
|
For New Mexico it might be , "POS" 5.14d FA Nick Duttle or "Derby Della Madonnina" 5.14c FA Cody Roth which are both at the tunnel..... |

KrisFiore wrote: I believe that is in Idaho? mountainproject.com/v/manha…There's a route by that name at Jackson but I assumed it was a project (I don't have the guidebook). I thought there had been some harder routes put up in the recent resurgence around/since the new guidebook release but I don't know what they are. |

Pennsylvania 5.14a? Romania |

Jeremy Kasmann wrote: Maybe Manhattan Project?Dynasty is (most likely) the hardest route in SoIll, going at 13d. Consensus seems to be it's a tad harder than Manhattan Project. |

There's some interesting background to this also. As I've heard the story, Dynasty, Manhattan Project, and one other one were all originally given the grade 13b by Brad Weaver. Brad's mega strong and grew up climbing in the area. You may have heard of some of his 5.14+ ascents in the Red and other areas. |

This has been so much fun to compile. Thanks for the help. It's crazy to see the massive differences and actually makes me want to go climb some to say I've done the hardest route in a state! (I'm comin' for you Rhode Island!) haha. |

As of today, Oregon's might be Assasin FA Drew Ruana. I'm assuming it's the linkup of repeat offender, villain, and white wedding (14a-14a-13d) |

i think it silly to not factor r/x ratings |
