Does anybody know if it is too snowy to climb in Eldo this weekend? If any wall is snow free please let me know. However if Eldo is too snowy, does anybody have any recommendations for where to find a snow free trad spot that is relatively close to Golden CO?

N Table Mtn fits the bill.

Do you by chance have any ideas for places that are longer than 1 pitch?

The south facing walls in the SSV outside of Lyons seems to dry out pretty quickly. Not sure how much snow they got there relative to Boulder but it may be worth a shot. It ain't Eldo, but there's some fun adventures to be had.

Could anyone speak to the condition of Ruper right now? Thinking of giving it a shot on Thursday, but haven't been out to that area in this season. Too snowy or good to go with the current temps this week?

Thanks!

Do you have 4x4? Plenty of locations in the S. Platte are climbable. Some require 4x4, some don't. Try Sheep's Nose.

Not exactly near Golden, but I 2nd the sheeps nose suggestion, s.platte is worth an extra hour or two of driving. Also plenty of great multi-pitch in Elevenmile Canyon with semi-dry roadside approaches (not sure of current road condition though.)

All south facing stuff is totally fine in Eldo by now.

I haven't been up it recently but pitch two tends to be a little wet in the wide crack area when there is heavy rain, prob the same with melting snow.

Check out Sheep Nose. Its under west creek in the S. Platte on this site. I was up there yesterday. Every route was dry and climbable. Everything from 1 to 4 pitches. However the pitches are all almost over 150 ft. Many variations as well.

I climbed at Rincon yesterday and it was great conditions in the sun. Most of the rock is dry on W. Ridge and Rincon. It will be perfect this week.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
