MP on new servers, possible bugs
|
I've upgraded the hardware, operating system, and most software that runs Mountain Project. It's roughly four times more horsepower than before. It's also very likely there are bugs, particularly around new photo uploads. |
|
Woot! More horsepower! Doesn't sound like a small under taking; looking forward to blazing fast pages. |
|
Not sure if related or on my end. I can't down load new areas as of this afternoon. Worked fine last night but now I get the down load error tap to retry. |

Make sure you have the latest version of the app. As of today, we stopped supporting some old versions. Delete it and get the latest here: mountainproject.com/mobileApps |

Thx for all the hard work. |

Those aren't the very latest, but the stable version that Amazon supports. RDS database hardware with the new Aurora engine (which required updating to InnoDb tables). Our 11-year-old MyIsam tables were pretty cranky. Side note: there's a bug related to page views that we display. Working on it... |

Here are the results. |
