Hey guys,

Name is Nick. I just moved to Mammoth for the season and am looking to get into wall climbing. I have very limited aid experience-only enough to realize that I need to do some more of it. So basically, I am hoping to follow you up some gnarly stuff and leech knowledge from you along the way... I am a competent free climber, leading 10c, 5 years experience, AMGA trained. I have endless energy for the sport, learn fast, and I know when I don't know. Anyhow, if you want a buddy for some late-season badassery give a shout (315-521-8872).

Nick & Hanes,

I'm looking to climb a couple of walls in 2016, I have a little aid experience but ready and willing to get after it. I'm a very safe climber, I have gear and a car. Ideally I want to do a couple smaller walls in the valley and then hop on elcap after gaining some experience. Let me know.

Id like to try and climb the nose of el cap this fall. I have never climbed a big wall but have the drive to learn. Ive got a big rack with some aid gear/ pro traxion, and a small haul bag. I live near and climb in western NC and have good training grounds for yosemite. If anyone would like to take a chance on a super gung ho dude that wants el cap real bad then I'm your guy. My buddies that I climb with are not really siked on climbing a big wall as much as I am. For whatever reason I feel like I need to try a big wall for myself.

Hey guys,
Thought I'd join into the group looking to do a wall this year.
I'm in the valley Fridays and Saturdays most of the year, and Sundays when possible. I've done some aid but more often multi pitch. If any intrest
let me know. Can elaborate more if intrested.

I'll throw my hat into the bigwall partner crowd. I'd prefer people are somewhat near me (I live in Davis) so we can share driving duties or at least meet on the way to the valley...but, beggars can't be choosers. I think climbing with someone you're phsyched to climb with is the most important thing for a bigwall partner. There can be a lot of suffering in close proximity! I'm not the most experienced aid climber, but I've been up the RNFHD, WFLT, and most of the SFWC. Still looking to improve and get faster.

If any of you guys are interested in a sub 12 hour run up the nose, let me know. I'd be willing to coach the right person. It's best if you're free climbing mid 5.11 (Yosemite grades) and comfortable with 50 foot runouts on 10- and easier terrain. Simul climbing, short fixing, and rope soloing experience is very useful

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
