Grand Junction climbing partners

Hello out there,

I'm a recent transplant to Grand Junction from the NW, and am looking for local partners. Have rope and rack, and love multi-pitch and adventures. Would love to get out this wknd; any of that Wingate in the Monument in season yet?

Hey Georrge, welcome to GJ! I don't think the wingate sandstone will be dry enough for quite a while. If you haven't already check out the local gym, Grand Valley Climbing. I'm sure you'll be Abe able to find plenty of partners there that trad lead into the 11's like you.

I'd offer my fat ass as a partner but I don't climb that hard ;)

Thanks for your replies guys. I've been doing some scouting up in the canyons the past few days, and looks like south-facing stone is dry, FYI. Chad, I'd be happy to climb with ya; I'm only getting up "5.11" when it's the right size afterall!
