Crash Pad Rental near J-Tree

Hey all,
I'm heading out to San Diego from the east coast in mid-April and plan on heading to Joshua Tree for a few days afterwards.

I'm not stoked on the price of bringing 3 pads on the plane, so is there anywhere in SD or nearby that rents crash pads? Or is there anyone willing to lend a few from from April 18-21 (could compensate in beer)?

Hi! I will be in the area of Big Bear in May and in Los Angeles in June. I would like to go bouldering ( Big Bear, Joshua Tree, Stoney Point, etc) Anyone knows if is it possible to rent a crash pad? I am alone, I'd also like to find people to climb with!
