Well when shit hits the fan gear is cheaper then people. We were on the first Flatiron yesterday 1/18 and got to the ridge right around dusk and their was 40mph winds coming from the west. Neither me or my partner felt comfortable leading the last short pitch to the summit due to it was getting dark and the heavy wind. We decided to rapp from a tree on the ridge and the rope got stuck. I am not asking for my rope back, but if you do find it and want to return it a case of beer is yours. If you find and and keep it, (which is the name of the game). Its a 60m Beal rope, It is on its end of its life (3 years old)(medium use). I just would rather not litter, hence the post.

If you'd rather not litter, why not spend the few hours it takes to go retrieve your rope?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
