There are many seasonal raptor closures with varying dates and specific boundaries. These generally effect The Monument, Kiss of the Lepers, Picnic Lunch Wall and/or Smith Rock group, and possibly elsewhere. These usually run from February to the beginning of August, but each closure is usually shorter than this, and is dependent on the birds' behavior. Description

One of the several towers in the Monument area, Victoria Tower hosts a small handful of solid moderate routes. Due to its location, it rarely sees traffic and may be a good destination for crowded Smith weekends.

Established routes tend to be cleaner than the more recently bolted routes and some hollow / loose holds may exist on the very recently bolted lines.

Gets morning sun and afternoon shade.

Getting There

After crossing the bridge, turn right onto the River Trail. After approximately 0.5 miles, find a small trail on the left that heads towards Victoria Tower.
