I would assume all three but cant confirm. I just did the math. If i bought them from MEC with the CAN dollar the way it is, it would be $310 US dollars for the pair. Thats a friggin deal!

That makes more sense. What are they, $329 US each at full retail? That's still a deal.

Whoops. You're right. I did the math for the regular tech machines, not the carbon ones.

Anyone actually used them on ice yet? I can get them via pro deal for really cheap, wasent impressed by the teck machine, but im curious about the carbon version... Where they top heavy enough for good penetration?

I didn't love the tech machines either. Haven't used the carbon.

Head weight has never been an issue for me. I always remove weights from tools that come with them. Prefer a balanced weight throughout

If it means anything to you ^^^ Eric or anyone else, my first set of straight shaft tools that I climbed leashless with, I modified a lil pinky pommel onto them:

Roll a length of bike tube up the handle
Wrap a length of polyethylene piping (hose for a gas or antifreeze line, etc.)
Roll that same length of bike tube back down over the piping
Hose clamp at the bottom
Wrap everything tight in your favorite mastic
Shape the pommel to your liking

LoL! I was still using leashes on them. Then, while up in NH a buddy let me use his Nomics...... I asked where he got his "Cheatin' Sticks" It was all over, my knuckles have been thanking ever since
