Singapore December 21 - ?
|
I'm headed to Singapore for work from December 21st until, well, I'm not sure. I'd love to meet up with some other climbers on weekends/during the holidays and check out the 'Dairy Farm Wall', which I understand is the only major outdoor climbing area on the island. I'll be bringing a rope and a single trad rack, though I'd be happy to boulder, sport climb, or top-rope too! Any input from folks who have climbed there or do would be appreciated! |

Hey I will be there the first half of January and would love to try to get out the weekend of the 8th. Also looking for beta on climbing gyms (is Onsight a good spot?). I'll have a rope and draws because I'm going to Tonsai but will not have cams or stoppers. |

Climb Asia is on tessensohn road and is a pretty nice outdoor wall. If the day is dry and not blazing hot, it's fun.
Climb Central in the sports hub and is indoors and air-conditioned. It's great with lots of variety and good lead walls. The bouldering area has really well set routes. Onsight is in Gaylang area and has tall walls with a large lead area. The bouldering is steep and fun! Onsight is in an old Badminton arena so it's covered but not climate controlled. It can get hot and muggy. There are a few others but these are the best and most accessible. |
