Boulder Basin Campground/ Black Mtn Area threatened.

One thing that visiting climbers should realize about the rangers on this mountain is that many of them are life time locals who, like all us locals, consider every inch of this mountain as a part of our extended neighborhood. My family moved here in `79,I've been climbing here since`80, and I'm still here. Most of my friends joined the USFS after High School. Respect this mountain like it's your hood and all is good is the theme here. That being said we do get some transplant,asshole rangers who fuck shit up for locals too. We work hard at running them out. Just be cool always!!! It's the only way to live.
