early season skiing in Austria

My wife and I will be in Austria Nov28-Dec3 (coming from Colorado) .. we would love to experience early season skiing in the alps but not sure where we should go. Solden and Stubai seem to be a good option but I would really appreciate some 'local' input .. accommodations, rental equipment and terrain are all taken into consideration.

Check out Obergurgl and Hochgurgl. they are near Solden and a bit higher. Skied there years ago (early season) and loved it.

Look into Innsbruck. The mountains around there are receiving snow, and I heard a few folks were skiing already… It is very beautiful there, and is the only city to host two olympics. That is about all the information I have, but it's a start for you. Good luck, have fun!
