I'm offering an inexpensive self-rescue clinic at Rock'n & Jam'n north next weekend on October 24th.
Cost: $45 plus the price of admission to the gym.

You would spend ~5 hours practicing the following indoors:
-several knots
-belay escape
-raising systems (overview)
-lowering
-counterbalance descent
-ascending
-station transfer to tandem rappel

PM me if you'd like to sign up.

bump.

A few are signed up, and a few openings remain.

Any plans on doing this in the future? Going to be out of town until next week so I can't make this one, but definitely something I'd be interested in. Already have a RnJ 1 membership too.

I'll do it once or twice a year, but if you can round up a few of your climbing buddies I'll schedule one just for your group.

Just wanna say, you have quite the marketing plan. With your logo (and avatar), you are immediately recognizable in the AMGA print ads :)

I've had the Miguel de Cervantes look since the early 1990's - the freak flag is pretty much mandatory after the second degree in art. Might as well work it.

I'm not a buddy of C. Kahl(not that I don't like him....I just don't know him, lol) but here is one more somebody interested if we can round a few more to have another group session in the future.
Thanks
Donald

How about this: gather up six participants by whatever means and select a date that works for all of you. The calendar is the crux of the matter for things like this. Private message among yourselves and let me know when we have a quorum.
Cheers,

Any chance of doing one of these down at RJ2 sometime?

How many people would I need to get together to schedule our own session?

Really need to work on my self rescue skills, a clinic sounds great.

How about 6 students?
R & J South could work.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
