Buttermilks Temperature

I checked the main page already for the expected temps to the area, but when I clicked on it, the temps are calculated for Bishop airport. It says the elevation there is approx. 4,000 feet. I know the buttermilks are a little higher up. Are temps at the milks usually couple degrees cooler than the town itself?

Yes, and windier as well. Milks are at about 6400 ft. Supposed to warm up this weekend so mornings/evenings are usually best.

They are cooler, but not by much. According to the thermometer in my car, the temperature only dropped about 7 degress, when I went up there from Bishop a couple days ago. I would try to stay in the shade.

Pretty accurate Al Gore Rythem. And yes, shade is good. Still warm.

Check the RAWS locations there. You can get real time temps and humidities.
