Looking for N Scottsdale trad partner

Hey all,

I just recently moved out to N Scottsdale after 8 years in the Marine Corps and am looking for a trad climbing partner as well as someone I could potentially train with at the gym 'AZ on the Rocks.' I will be starting school this spring to include (hopefully) a part time job so my schedule will most likely turn out to be evenings at the gym and weekend trips to neighboring areas. But as of now I am unemployed and free 7 days a week looking to get out as much as possible.

I've been leading moderate trad routes for 3 years now and am currently comfortably leading 5.7 trad/5.9 sport (coming off a dry spell and working on getting my "lead head" back) and pushing the grades at 5.8/5.8+ trad/10a sport. Will follow 10b trad/11a sport.

Little background on my climbing career:I was taught to climb by a rock climbing instructor through the Marine Corps (AMGA curriculum) and took 3 private lessons through an AMGA certified company called Vertical Adventures based out of Joshua Tree National Park. I'm proficient in multi-pitch and self rescue techniques. I take safety and self check/buddy checks seriously and expect the same in a partner. Shoot me a message if interested.

Regards,

Dan Evans
