You have a "hide" gear for sale option. That is fantastic. I am thinking you might also offer a new forum labeled "I left my gear and/or rope behind on purpose due to my shortcomings, but feel entitled to have someone retrieve, haul out and return it to me, PLEASE!"...then offer those of us who don't care the option to "hide" this forum as well....would shorten the new post list by half....maybe also allowing some dirt baggers a direct line on how to build a rack on the cheap.

Particularity if it has fleas. Those were not fleas by the way, but rather a sage insect that was in full force when Casey and I did Black Point Fissures...supposedly their bites take a day or two to develop. And don't steal my lines Frank!

Dow, if there were an option to hide everything you find insulting or inferior, there would be no Mountain Project left. You might have better results just sticking with Summit Post.

Glad they weren't fleas - I haven't had any problems at home, in the car or with the dogs.

You summarized my personality on top of Lembert Dome to that guy (the retired chiropractor) by telling him I was a "get off my lawn" type of guy. I was proud of that characterization.

Just trying to live up to my reputation! Ha!

Black Point Fissures? (code language, maybe?) I'll have to look that up.

See you soon.

But if Dow doesn't post here, then how is he supposed to crosspost his super sick beta on Summitpost?

Perhaps if all these noobs had been using double ropes like Dow suggests, then they wouldn't be leaving their gear/ropes behind.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
