Buddy for Mt. Whitney trip

Hey everyone. So a friend of mine got permits for Mt. Whitney, but recently lost her job and is 96% sure about backing out. I got vacation days for this damn trip so I still want to go SO BADLY, but live in SF and don't have my own car. The permits are 9/2-9/3, a Weds & Thurs. Most of my friends have normal 9-5 jobs so it's been a deal finding a replacement buddy. The plan was just to drive up, camp, hike, camp, come back or hit up Yosemite for the rest of the weekend. If whoever joins could help out with gas/snacks that would be super, but I would gladly cover the permit ($16).

If any of this is remotely interesting or you know someone who would be down (no creepers pls) let me know asap! Thanks!
