Fuck December. Let’s roadie to the Mex!

Ol’ Man Winter is fast approaching, Clear Creek Canyon is getting frosty, Shelf is getting wicked crowded, and Boulder is still…well…Boulder.

I say we ditch this country and migrate south for the winter. For December, at any rate.

I gotta big, late(ish) model Tundra, and I got an itch to drive it down to El Portrero Chico over the next few weeks. Leave December 3rd(ish), back just in time for the Christmas holidays. Swearit.

I’ve got room for two. Three if’n we really squeeze.

Or? Maybe you, hippie soul, just need a ride down to Hueco Tanks? Whatever, just so long as folks can pitch in for gas, it’s all good to me.

So? Quit that job. Ditch that boyfriend. Say “Hasta la vista, baby!” and other cool, Mexican phrases, and let’s ride!

Anyone trying to go this December/January?

Don't know about Dec. Been there enough in Dec. It is usually cold. Can be a bit rainy with the mist hanging most or all day. Later in January is usually better with Feb. getting warm to often hot (chasing the shade). Weather patterns do change.

I am on break from school from 20 Dec - 20 January. I would be willing to go for 1-2 weeks anytime in that time frame.

December. Was. Fabulous. This DISPITE the mists and the occasional rains.

Am making a return trip this year. From just after Thanksgiving until NYE. Reserve your seats now...

I don't know how I feel about being away for christmas I was going to do january 11-20th because I have drill on the 9-10th
