The short version is 10-15 new sites at both the Bank and Sand Gulch, as well as expanded day use parking. There's also an interesting note in there about allowing free overflow camping in vehicles in the day-use parking if all the sites are full. It sounds good, but I could see that becoming a problem...
It may not help with the crowds on routes, as I think the camping has been a limiting factor for a while. But, I know I've done day trips from Denver because I knew camping was out of the question but I really wanted to climb at Shelf on a weekend day. Perhaps enough others have been doing the same that the number of folks at the crags won't change that much.
Ive been forced to crash in the overflow field from occasion. I'm just glad that the price for camping will remain the same. It's still the most reasonable rates around.
