Right , I meant like a preview page of how the book looks on any given page. The website has a bunch of photos of people climbing in "areas featured in the book" but no actual picture of what the book looks like on the inside.

Misty, Just curious if the type of road sign used for the star rating has any particular significance? Does it denote a particular style or type of climbing or something? By the way, book looks great, I can't wait to pick up a copy!

Yes Ken it the symbols for star grades (obviously 3 of anything means classic) have underlying meanings. For instance, the stars for 'Bogus Pedophile Charge' has an adult and a child cross walk sign ;P.

Why are the Utah Guides always ____ "bible"?

Yeah..."the black bible"...nickname.

To my knowledge, this is the only guidebook title for Utah climbing that has "bible" in the title.

In fact...is there any US guidebook with "bible" in the title?

What say ye, collectors of guidebooks (Nathan, Greg)? I can't think of one.

Does Holy Ten Sleep count? No bible in the title but the damn book is leather bound on bible paper...

Can't think of a "bible" guide right off other than this one.

I'm pretty sure I read somewhere in the small print that that Ten Sleep guide is pseudo-leather as well, not real make-a-saddle-out-of-it leather.

It is currently not available at any Colorado vendors. I will be working on it, but if you are eager to get your hands on one you can always order online.
