Best Instant Coffee
|
Is there such a thing as good instant coffee? I know there are some semi quick solutions with small/basic french presses but I am looking for even mediocre coffee I don't need to heat water for. Any suggestions are appreciated. |

Starbucks VIA has my vote. Individually packed, several varieties, packs a punch if you double-up, and you can find them pretty much anywhere. |

+1 for the Starbucks VIA, though they are also the most expensive. |

Another vote for VIA! We ran out of fuel on our last day and had to resort to cold water, tasted magnificent |

Instant coffee? Nah. Just boil a couple cups of water and add a few tablespoons of regular coffee and simmer for a minute. Turn of the fire and let it rest for a minute or two to settle the grounds and there you go! Fresh coffee, aka cowboy coffee. |

I don't mind Nescafe...probably prefer the Starbucks. |

If you take your coffee regular, trader joes makes little tubes like via, but cheaper. |

Cafe Bustelo Espresso is pretty good as well as cheap. Discovered by accident on a recent trip back home to NYC. I drank it cold. I even put it in carbonated spring water for a espresso soda, which was good after it exploded. |

Starbucks...believe it or not. |
