Coming to Sedona for spring break, and am looking for some information etc.
|
Hey, I'll be in the Sedona area for spring break with my girlfriends family, and I'm not going to pass up the opportunity to climb. I'll be flying in from Michigan, and I'm not sure how much gear I'll be able to bring, but I'm going to likely just be TR'ing or bouldering. The problem is, I am having a lot of trouble finding a solid guidebook that has good reviews. |

Checkout the Overlook at the top of Oak Creek Canyon, lots of good cracks that can be toproped by slinging a tree, just bring lots of webbing/cordage. Often is perfect in the spring, sometimes can be wet or chilly. |

If you are talking about climbing here in March of next year, try Book of Friends, a great offwidth. |

This route looks tough! Are there any top-rope OW's in the area? I, living where I do, don't own any large cams/big bros. Thanks for the info! |
