Does anyone know if Lovers Leap is still good for climbing with the fire in Kyburz happening? Is it possible to get there with the 50 closed?

I'd think you'd have to go a long way around to get there. I'm headed to the eastside today and I'm pretty sure I'll have to go 88/89, which is what you'd have to do to get around the closure and come back through Meyers. Unless there is another way around the closure that I don't know.

Thanks. Have you heard if people are still climbing at the leap? Last I heard there were voluntary evacuations at Strawberry.

Here are helpful links for closure info. Mormon immigrant trail to Silver Fork road and over packsadde pass is an alternate route out/into strawberry. Unsure if closures exist this route. Be cautious of Fire crews on these small roads.
