Hi MPer's!
Looking for a partner for some Eastside climbs in Toulumne Meadows in early September until mid-September when the Camp 4 camping restrictions ease off. Hoping to find a partner who would like to partner/mentor for a go on S Face of Washington Column during the second half of September.
This will be my second visit to the Valley and I would love to find someone who would like to tick off a few of the more moderate, adventure routes. I'm blowing the wad on a new 10 mm rope, a 9mm static haul line, a new Pro Traxion, a Haul Bag, a new trad rack just for this trip. Wanna help put some scuffs on all this shiny new gear??
I don't climb especially hard that much anymore, but I do have a bizarrely impressive climbing resume of moderate routes on several continents and have guided (and am currently guiding) rock, ice, and alpine climbing and have held previously an AMGA SPI cert so I kinda, maybe know what I am doing on rock.
So if this sounds like something you'd be interested in getting on board with drop me a line!
Cheers!

I'm down for several days in tuolumne. Just was there and want to get on more routes. Climb .7-.9 range. Double rack and 70m.

Hi FoamFinger (and SRB25)--I also climb in the 5.7-5.9 trad range and am looking forward to pushing myself in September, getting ready for the AAC Intl Climbers Meetup in Joshua Tree in late September.

I consider myself a safe and conscientious climber/person.

BTW, FoamFinger I am originally from Sparta, MI but live in the SF Bay Area now and started climbing in Yosemite Valley last season.

Send me an email,

Hi SRB25 and Kevin!
You both sound like you would be great partners for the Valley! I'm deep into my current job guiding/instructing right now but I will respond in detail more in a couple of days when I have a little more time.
Thanks so much for reaching out to me and I look forward to connecting with you both to climb!
Cheers!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
