High Peaks (Keene, Lake Placid) Fly Fishing

Heading up to the High Peaks in September for a few days of climbing and fishing. Anyone know any good streams? Thanks!

Driving up from Jersey, a little over 5 hours. Something easy to reach near downtown Lake Placid. Going to be climbing and camping overnight in the backcountry so I want to keep the fishing stuff easy and close. Any good trout streams will do.

Look up the West Branch of the AuSable. 10-15 minutes from downtown.

The Moutaineer in Keene Valley and just about every outdoor store from there to the other side of Saranac Lake will have beta.
