I am visiting Denver for some concerts in late July and would like to climb while on the vacation. The friend I am meeting up with has never climbed before and a history of shoulder injuries from skateboarding that required two surgeries. Doctor recommend not doing pull ups to avoid reinjuring the arm. My question, are there fourth or easy fifth class routes in the Denver area where we could climb together without the need for him to do pull ups? I was specifically looking at freeway or east face standard on the flat irons.
Thanks for the advice.
