Just like the title says... How're the snow conditions up on Dead Dog? Is it still climbable?

I won't pretend to know enough about snow conditions to answer your question, but still lots of snow up there when I went up Grays on Friday. Here's the latest conditions reports. 14ers.com/php14ers/peakstat…

I was on Torrey's last Sat (6/20) - skied the tuning fork, as did about 15 other skiers. As stated by others on 14ers, dead dog looked like it was a bit of a mess. Lots of Avi debris, growing runnel, etc. granted, I didn't get on it, so can't say for sure, but the tuning fork sure skied nicely!

Went up dead dog this morning. Firm and prime for climbing but it'd be ugly on skis, as above. Might have to jump a couple runnels. South paw and the saddle are good with a tricky cornice on the former.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
